How do you transfer songs from your iPod to a new computer?

Ok. I got a new Macbook laptop computer from apple. On a Dell desktop that I have, I have my iTunes on it. The iTunes on the Dell desktop has songs that are from the music program “Limewire.” How do I transfer the songs to the Apple laptop w/o losing any songs? Also, does anybody have a Mac laptop and does it allow you to download Limewire? Thanks a lot!

I recommend buying a Portable hard drive.
You are able to remove the hard drive from your old computer and put it on your new one.
If you don’t have your old computer, find one, connect the portable hard drive and your iPod, open up two exploring windows, one with the iPod “Music” folder open, and an empty folder on the hard drive, drag the songs onto the hard drive, disconnect, plug it into the new computer and drag the songs from the hard drive onto a documents folder.

this site will give you an ipod just for completing some quick online tasks! really recommend it, especially if you’re broke but really want an ipod (like me).

you will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you copy songs in your ipod to computer as itunes blocks the ipod-to-computer transfer…see for help..get ipod to computer transfer, it’s a shareware cost $20..it can copy songs, videos and playlists from ipod to pc only 2 clicks, works great for me.
