What are good songs to sing for a talent show?

I am a freshmen in highschool and i really need a good song to blow the judges (that say who gets to be in it and who doesnt) so that they will actually consider a freshmen. what are good songs? i have a rang from an a flat (below middle c) and a high A, so about a two octave range. thank you soo much for any help!

    confesions of a broken heart by Lindsay Lohan it may sound corny but its really deep. it has a lot of meaning and in the middle/end she belts it out. its amazing and the perfect song with a perfect range. just look it up at launch.com . trust me its amazing its not slow because it will keep you on the edge of your seat following the story of the song plz plz plz give it a try

    i would pick a song that has alot of meaning and one that u sound good singing. something spontaneous that tha judge would never expect! Good luck!

    At more than half the talent shows I’ve seen, someone sang that song from “A walk to remember” …the one Mandy Moore sings in the school play…I think it may be called “Only Yours”….

    “and I lift my hands and pray to be only yours I pray to be only yours”
    “I know now you’re my only hope”

    Walk on by. or try “At Last” or “If You Go away” all require a wide range in tone or pitch to sing, just ask Cyndi Lauper ,if you can hit the notes she does I am sure you will do well in the Talent show, Good Luck

    I would go with “Total Eclipse of the Heart” its a power ballad that was orginally sung by Bonnie Tyler…It’s been done on American Idol several times most famously by Nikki Mckibbin …
    It was a smash hit in 1983 and I am sure it would really wow the judges.
