What are good songs to learn on the guitar?

I need a list of the coolest songs to play in the guitar mind you, I’m not a pro. And also i need new songs a not old ones. Songs like With You by Chris Brown. It would be awesome if you could tell me a site to go to as well!

    Once youve learnt to read thabs this will be your sanctuary

    Some song suggestions now
    Save Tonight - Eagle Eye Cherry
    Anything by Greenday, Nirvana or Blink 182 is easy.

    Do you have a specific song in mind? I know a lot of different songs, I would suggest to got to youtube, and search any song, they usually have lessons. also if you know how to read tabs, go to or there are a bunch of songs, sorry i don’t have one in mind , but i really hope this helps.

    google is pretty much all you need.

    Just search for “name-of-song guitar tab”

    & you will generally find quite a few easy to play arrangements with the basic chords & perhaps a bit of fancy finger picking & lead.

    Once you’ve got the basics, try working things yourself - just sing the melody & your ears will begin to tell you what chords to play.

    Seeing as how it seems like you enjoy music that’s on the R&B side I have a recommendation for a song as well as some sources to start learning!

    First off a nice new-ish song to learn on the guitar is the Colby O’Donis song “What You Got”. I’ve heard it played acoustic (I’m guessing you have an acoustic guitar)

    Second a nice site for learning how to play certain songs is 911 tabs
    You’ll need to learn tabulature or “tabs” for short basically its showing you what notes to play where, all you need to do is fill in the actual rhythm of the song. There are plenty of sites that teach you how to read tabs.

    Finally if you really like mixing acoustic guitar and r&b type music youtube.com is invaluable in gathering both new ideas and learning how to play certain songs seeing as how tabs websites such as the one provided mainly liek to focus around rock, folk, country, and other music that actual use guitar on a regular basis.
    One artist Id recommend is a guy named “Passion” he’s a Filipino dude thatll blow you away lol. Look him up on youtube and check his stuff out. He likes to play stuff like Ne-Yo and etc.

    well what i did is i went and learned at least one riff from just about every song in the guitar hero games after which i only remembered the one’s that were really fun to play. now what i suggest (i still regret not doing this) is that you learn not only really cool fast stuff but at least one or two slower prettier stuff ****** dig that junk (only applies if your a guy) anyway i really enjoyed songs like the intro to one by metalica really it depends on what kind of music you listen to some songs will just jump out at you. you’ll be listening to the radio and all the sudden you’ll say “i need to learn this song” then you go do such. guitaring is incredibly spontaneous
