How to Transfer songs on iTunes from Recently Added to the Music Library?
June 5th, 2009 | by songs |Therapeutic Chain of Events asked:
I recently downloaded a couple of songs onto my computer. When I clicked on them to play they opened my Recently Added folder on my itunes and played the song. But when I looked for the song in the music library it was there. I have to go to the recently added folder of itunes in order to play it. What’s weird is that a song I download 2 days ago is in the music library, while the song I download today is in recently added.
I tried dragging it from recently added to the music library but it wouldn’t work.
Does anyone know what’s going on.

Make sure you first put all of the music in the MUSIC part of itunes, then from their right click each song you want to be on your ipod, and click where it says put in PURCHASED part, then it will be in both and work in both,

Click on Music up at the top-right-hand corner and it will display all of your music. Recently Added is just a sub-display of your entire library.
Hope that helps….

Did you download them to iTunes or some other place on your computer? You will need to import them to iTunes if they are on your computer. File > Add to Library or drag and drop them to iTunes Library.
