How do I get songs onto my iPod without buying the songs from iTunes?

My friend knows how to search the songs she wants and then put in her iPod, but she wont tell me.
Can you?
If you know any other way please tell me.

    Limewire and Bear Share both carry viruses… I can sometimes search music on Myspace and if they have the “Download” button clickable then you can download that song, but it doesn’t always work…
    Sometimes you can search the song on Google and it will have a download button… That very rarely works for me and when it does it takes a LOT of searching.

    Limewire is a nice 1, and u can get songs off of ur CDs. Enjoy!

    what you do is you make cds of the songs you want download itthen download it onto itunes and name them all onto itunes the download it to your ipod that simple it is all free 2

    go to limewire and down load your songs then import them into itunes by clicking file then iport this costs no money at all

    use limewire. don’t use bearshare or anything else, it gives you tonnes of viruses, limewire is pretty good about not giving you viruses.

    first tyhing, download limewire. the virus thing is bullshit. it is perfectly safe. the only thing is to burn discs and then delete the songs so the memory doesn’t clog.
    after using limewire to get the songs you want, open itunes.
    click file, import folder, then click on my documents, then my music, then shared, then ok
    you will then have your limewire songs on itunes
