My dad put some songs on my ipod and I forgot to ask him is it different to download to on mp3 players.When I download songs to my ipod, the songs are not on it.

    you first download the cd to your itunes then place in ipod

    There is software ( I use Nero ) that will read the CD audio files, convert them to MP3 and save these MP3s onto your hard drive. You then download them onto your player.
