1) Install iTunes on the NEW PC. 2) Burn the entire iTunes folder of the OLD PC to a CD-RW or the like an then COPY/PASTE it to the new PC. Then all the data will be there! Now if your old PC is hosed and cannot access you need an application that will copy back from the iPod. You did not say in your question….

You can only transfer songs that you have purchased with iTunes to another computer. Look under File->Transfer purchases from iPod. For other songs, there is really no easy way. You can browse the folders and songs on your iPod using windows explorer, however the files are renamed and will not make much sense to the normal user, but you should be able to copy/paste them to another computer. If you have a lot of songs, this can be a painful process

Buy and USB memory stck/flas drive/ hard disk ( they cost around $20 for like a 1 or 2 gig) save your songs on their and take the USB memory stck/flas drive/ hard disk to the new computer and copy them on their and *** them to your iTunes library. If however you are a music fan then just get an iRecord (www.irecord.com) that should solve all your problem including buying music and waiting for music to be released
Hope Ive helped you out

you will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you copy songs in your ipod to computer as itunes blocks the ipod-to-computer transfer…see for help..get ipod to computer transfer, it’s a shareware cost $20..it can copy songs, videos and playlists from ipod to pc only 2 clicks, works great for me.

you actually don’t need any software
1) connect your ipod to your new computer but if it says it has to be reformattedclick no you will lose your songs
2)click on start and click on my computer
3)your ipod should be on the list click on it
4)under tools at the top click folder options click the view tab
5)under fileds and folders click on show hiiden folders
6)now click on ipod control, than music
7) now you should see f1 f2 f3 …..
under all these folders are music files
9)now create a folder on your desktop (music, example)
10) drag all the f1 f2… folders to this folder
11) this may take a while. after your done unplug your ipod
download itunes now and get it running
12)now this is the easy yet boring part going in each F folder and adding theese songs to your itunes library
13)check your itunes library and ipod make sure they have the same amout of songs
14) next to make sure this doesn’t happen aging make a back up by clicking on file on itunes. and clicking on back up llibrary.
15) now delete the folder on your desktop so it doesn’t use up space
