My husband is getting ready to deploy for the first time. I was wondering what songs you would listen to while he was away. Like songs to cry to or songs to make you feel better.

    I listened to Nickelback, like the song Far away? Its a good one, and there is another but i can’t remember the name of the song but its by Nickelback as well.

    I listen to Frank Sinatra, and it drives my husband crazy. One Saturday night before he deployed he made me dinner and played some of my favorite Sinatra songs. It was nice, and now when I hear Frank, I think of my husband and that night.

    american soldier by toby keith ….(makes me proud)
    letters from home, i forget who sings it….(makes me think of how my hubby feels)
    my wish by rascal flatts….(makes me feel like loving him more)
    who you’d be today by kenny chesney (makes me sad)
    come home soon by shedaisy (makes me cry my eyes out!)
    i melt by rascal flatts (makes me love my hubby even more)
    i miss you by acceptance
    me and you by kenny chesney (this is me and my husbands song so it makes me think of him alot)
    she’s every woman by garth brooks (this song makes me happy cuz he says it’s his song to me)
    you had me from hello by kenny chesney (another one of “our” songs so it makes me think of us)

    all these songs make me think of my husband…come home soon by shedaisy made me cry my eyes out and miss my husband even more…….i dont know if you even like country music but i hope these help….they’re mostly songs that make you cry…..sorry :) but good luck and best wishes to you and your guy!!!!
